Open WOD Database
Everything on this site is built on an open dataset: 496 named CrossFit benchmark workouts and 246 movements as structured, validated, machine-readable JSON — free to use under CC BY 4.0.
What's in it
- Every entry carries its rep scheme, loads (male/female Rx), format, and movements as data — not prose. A 21-15-9 couplet is an array, not a sentence.
- The Girls, Hero WODs, and competition workouts (Open, Quarterfinals, Games) back to 2007, each validated against a published JSON Schema in CI.
- Scaling guidance and origin stories for the classic benchmarks, including the honoree histories behind the Hero WODs.
- A 246-movement glossary with categories, equipment, aliases, and biomechanical movement patterns, cross-referenced from every workout.
