Getting started

Activate your account with the code from your gym's invite, and find your way around the app.

How you get in

WodWiz is for gyms that use it, and your gym invites you. When your gym adds you, you get an email that says your gym invited you to WodWiz, with an 8-character invite code. That code is what gets you into your gym.

Didn't get an email? Look in your spam folder for mail from hello@wodwiz.com, and ask your gym to check they invited the right address.

Activate your account

  1. Install WodWiz from the App Store.
  2. Tap Open WodWiz in your invite email on your phone. The app opens with your email and code already filled in. (Or open the app yourself, type the email your invite went to and tap Continue.)
  3. On You're on your gym's roster, check the Invite code, add your Name, and choose a password of at least 6 characters.
  4. Tap Activate account. You're signed straight in. There's no confirmation email to wait for.

Tip: Typing the code by hand? Spaces and dashes don't matter, and the app reads the letter O as a zero and I or L as a one.

Already have a WodWiz account?

Sign in with your password as usual. If your gym invited the email you sign in with, you land in your gym. If you're signed in and Today says You're not in a gym yet, type the code from your invite into Invite code and tap Join gym, or tap Check for my invite.

Invite codes only work for the email they were sent to. If your invite went to a different address, sign out and sign in with that one.

Your first few minutes

A few welcome screens show you around (you can Skip them). Then Your numbers asks for your units, your gender (for the leaderboard split) and your best single on a few lifts. All of it is optional, but your maxes are what let WodWiz work out your weights when your coach programs a percentage.

To see the welcome again: Profile → Settings → Replay welcome.

Finding your way around

The tab bar at the bottom has four buttons:

  • Today (the dumbbell): your gym's workouts for the day, your gym's news and your notifications bell.
  • Logbook (the notebook): everything you've logged, your lifts and benchmarks, your goals, and the + button to add a result.
  • Gym feed (the pulse line): what your gym has been up to over the last two weeks, and the PR board if your gym has one. A gold dot means something new.
  • Profile (the person): your photo and stats, announcements, challenges and Settings.
Still stuck? In the app, Profile → Settings → Report a problem, or see Support.
