Logging a result
Log the day's workout, add a lift or a benchmark, edit or delete a result, and what happens with no signal.
Log today's workout
- On Today, tap Log on the workout.
- Enter your score. The form fits the workout: sets for a lift, rounds and reps for an AMRAP, a time for a For Time piece. Prescribed reps are filled in for you, and your working weights show beside the sets.
- Under How'd it go?, pick Rx or Scaled (or your gym's levels, if it uses them), so your result lands on the right leaderboard.
- Tap Save result.
Before you save, WodWiz tells you whether it's a PR (for example, "New PR, 0:12 faster than your best").
Add a lift, a benchmark or another workout
In the Logbook, tap the gold + to open Add a result. It has three tabs:
- Lift: choose a lift, then a Rep max (your best for 1, 3, 5 or any number of reps) or Sets × reps.
- Benchmark: choose a named workout like Fran or Murph. It's scored the way that workout is scored.
- Workout: anything else. Give it a name, write it out, and pick how it's scored.
Each form has Add a note and a date. You can log something you did on an earlier day, but not a future one.
PRs
You never have to mark a PR. Every result is checked against your history. A new rep max on a lift is a PR the first time you log it; for a workout or benchmark, your first result sets the mark to beat. A PR gets a celebration and a Share your PR button that makes an image to post or send.
If your gym has a PR board, a PR shows a Share to PR board switch. It starts on; you can change that default in Settings → PR board.
Notes, and keeping one to yourself
Tap Add a note on any result. Teammates who open the result can read it, unless you switch on Only me. An Only me note is hidden from everyone else in your gym, coaches included.
Edit or delete a result
- A result on one of your gym's workouts: open the workout from Today and change it there, then tap Save changes. From the result's own page, tap Edit on the workout.
- A result you added in the Logbook: open it and tap the pencil.
- To delete one: tap the trash icon on the result's page (or Delete this result under the save button). That also removes the comments and cheers on it, and can't be undone.
No signal in the gym?
Save anyway. A new result saved without a signal is kept on your phone, and you'll see "Saved on this phone. It'll sync when you're back online." A banner on Today and the Logbook shows what's waiting, with Sync now. WodWiz also tries again on its own whenever you open the app.
Changes to a result you already saved can't wait offline. Keep the screen open and save again when you have signal; everything you typed stays put.
